Hole 17 – Short

164 yards

As the name implies, this is a short hole, but one with severe consequences for failing to find the putting surface. The green is encircled by a moat-like bunker per Seth Raynor’s original plans and features a prominent “thumbprint” indentation on the putting surface that can funnel or repel shots and putts in all directions.

A more forward tee has been added to give flexibility in daily setup. The left exterior line of the green has been reshaped to align with the original plans, while the right exterior line has been extended to match early aerials. Restoring the green shape and the thumbprint contour means that distance control and precise trajectory are critical.
